100 moles of a mixture of 60 mol% pentane and the rest heptane is vaporized in a flash distillation unit at 101.32kPa absolute pressure

100 moles of a mixture of 60 mol% pentane and the rest heptane is vaporized in a flash distillation unit at 101.32kPa absolute pressure till 40 mol of vapor mixture and 60 mol of liquid mixture that are in equilibrium with each other is produced. The vapor and liquid are in contact till vaporization is finished (i.e., ideal stage). a. (10 points) Plot the equilibrium curve (ya vs xa) and T-x, y diagrams using Antoine equation to determine the vapor pressures and using Raoult's law and Ideal gas law to find vapor- and liquid phase mole fractions. b. (5 points) Determine the composition of the vapor and the liquid. c. (10 points) Use the equilibrium data to calculate the relative volatility (a) as a function of liquid phase mole fraction of the more volatile species (x) and plot a graph of the same.
