13. Construction of composite curves (15 points) The following four streams are required to be heated up or cooled down to desired temperatures. mcp (kW/C) Enthalpy (kW) Stream HI H2 C1 C2 Inlet T (C) 180 160 30 90 Outlet T (C) 70 40 140 150 3 2 2 5 (a) Draw the individual hot and cold curves on a T-H diagram. You can draw them manually on a graph paper, or use Excel to plot them. Hint: for each stream, you can choose any starting point on the H-axis, because enthalpy is a relative entity. (b) Combine the two hot curves to get the hot composite curve, and also combine the two cold curves to get the cold composite curve. Plot the composite curves on a T-H diagram, positioning them such that the minimum vertical distance between the two curves is 10C. Again, draw them manually on a graph paper or use Excel
