14. You are planning a project to make dinner for guests. Your menu consists of a very special soup, and a baked chicken entrée consisting of chicken, rice, and peas. The soup must be boiled for 35 minutes and you should allow 15 minutes to serve and consume it (it will be consumed before the entrée). The chicken dish requires a fair amount of preparation: you have to boil the rice for 30 minutes, brown the chicken in the frying pan for 15 minutes, prepare a sauce (after browning the chicken) in the frying pan for 5 minutes, and place the rice, chicken, and sauce in a baking dish in the oven for 15 minutes. It takes 15 minutes to boil the peas. You plan to allow 25 minutes to serve and eat the entrée.

Assume you already have all the necessary ingredients, cooking equipment, dishes, silverware, etc. on hand, so your project’s scope is limited to what is described above.
