Collective Bargaining and Compensation in Health Care We have focused on wages and compensation of production workers in the automobile industry. However, the largest U.S. unions by membership. the National Education Association (NEA) and Service Employees international Union (SEIU) now primarily represent workers in other occupations, induding teachers and health care workers.
