150 couples were surveyed as to their preferred holiday destinations from among three well known destinations: South Africa, Zanzibar and the Caribbean Islands. The following results were obtained:

While 126 people preferred Zanzibar, 93 people liked South Africa. 39 people liked the Caribbean Islands and no other destination. 6 people liked South Africa and Zanzibar but not the Caribbean Islands. 18 people liked the Caribbean Islands and Zanzibar but not South Africa. It was observed that 30 couples liked South Africa but not the other destinations, while 78 couples liked South Africa or Zanzibar but not the Caribbean Island. 60 people did not like any of the three destinations.
