The student's information for the current system is stored in a secured, fail-over, backed up database. The new functionality is on the main web page, create a button of 'Link Social Media' to allow applicants the option to connect their social media (SM) and opens a pop-up window to get the username and password for a chosen SM and this information is stored separately from their application information. Once access is granted, the system automatically gathers the last 2 years of SM data. The university wants to develop a 'framework' to allow many SM systems to be added, incrementally over a 3-year timespan. Their goal is to give more evaluation data for the admissions committee and market/sell this framework to other universities.
