1.Dig a little deeper into the maxim that married respondents lean Republican. Retest the assertion, but this time control for how often ("regular", "occasional", "never") the respondent attends religious services. Does the maxim still hold? Are there any differences among the attendance rates?

Were the results of these exercises pretty much what you expected or were there any surprises?

In addition to following the report writing guidance given on Blackboard under the Assignments Reports Examples folder, be sure to address the following in your paper:

Include the 2x2 contingency tables of the data and perform the appropriate chi-square test. If a test results in rejection of independence, explain the dependence.

Illustrate your findings with the appropriate graphs such as pie charts, bar charts, etc to illustrate your findings.

Create new variables as needed and label them appropriately. Detail any such new variables in your report in case the reader wishes to replicate your findings. Also, label the observations appropriately and set the values of "No Answer", "Don't Know" or "Refused" to missing when necessary.
