1.Peter is an elderly man who owns a hardware store. Because of his failing health, he can no longer run the business. He wants to sell it to his nephew, Jonathan, who often helps in the store. Jonathan cannot afford to buy the business outright, so a contract is agreed upon whereby the business will be transferred to Jonathan. In exchange, peter will be kept on as a consultant for the rest o his life and Jonathan will pay peter a monthly sum. The contract also states that when peter dies, Jonathan will continue to pay the monthly sum to Peter's widow, Lesia.

Jonathan pays the monthly sum to peter while he is alive, but after peter's death he refused to pay the sum to Lesia. Can Lesia enforce this contract? Why or why not?
