In May of 2013, the Pew Research Center's Internet and American Life Project conducted a survey with a random sample of American adults. Of the 895 Internet users in the sample, 72% reported that they used social networking sites. You will use this data to test whether more than 70% of Americans use social networking sites. Answer the following questions:

a)Describe the population of interest and the sample. What is the difference between the two?

b)What is the parameter of interest and what is the statistic here? What is the difference between the two?

c)Set up the hypotheses you would use to test whether more than 70% of Americans use social networking sites.

d)Assess the strength of evidence by using Minitab to compute the p-value and standardized statistic.

e)What can you conclude?

f)Was it ok to use Minitab for this problem? In other words, were the sample size requirements met to use the theory-based method? Explain.
