1.Unfortunately, I do not have any references and I don't remember exactly what the advertisement was, but a long time ago when I was traveling in Japan visiting family, there was a cool interactive wall with advertisements on a movie.
Similar to the interactive floors in the play areas at the mall where kids can jump on top of the fish and stuff, there was a large, long wall that allowed people to interact with characters and other objects on the screen. You could even speak to the characters, and they would speak back, or if you touched their cheeks or something they would respond with ow, you pinched my cheek and other cool interactive effects. Moreover, if no one spoke to the characters, they would simply idle and shout out things like, "please come see us at our opening premiere" just as you would see celebrities shout out to fans.
It was an advertisement for a movie that was adapted from a book. At the end of the long screen there was a chalkboard where people could write/draw nice things to leave for the characters and staff, but it was encouraged to write any "ambitions" that you had because that was the theme of the movie.
It was a memorable advertisement for me because it brought the book to life, and was such a cool thing that you wouldn't expect to find when traveling around in public, and it drew my attention in even if I didn't know anything about the book or movie.
I've attached a picture similar to what I experienced, but it was larger and longer, it stretched from the ceiling to the floor and was like a long airport strip.
