1.You are an RBT running an in-home session with a client. While working on discrete trial training targets, the client begins engaging in a meltdown, consisting of screaming, hitting, and throwing things. The client's mother comes down and starts yelling at the client to get it together. The client continues to be upset. The caregiver tells the client that if he doesn't calm down, she is going to take his earned tokens away. Since he doesn't calm down, the caregiver directs you (the RBT) to go over to the table and take the tokens off of the token board.

2. You are an RBT working in home. You have been working with this client and his family for a long time and have come to trust them. During one of your sessions, you notice some strange bruises on the child's wrist. Inspecting closer, you notice 3 round bruises near each other, which could be from fingertips. You have never noticed bruises like this before and have had no other concerns with this family in the past.
