2. Introduction to computers

a. Using either an Amazon Dash button or the Blue Waters supercomputer as examples, map at least 8 different subcomponents (e.g., chips and antennas) into one of the five (you may consider interconnection of the five components as a sixth component for Blue Waters) main components of a computer. Use online descriptions, teardowns, and component data sheets to help you with this task.

b. Look up one stored program computer from each of the last 8 decades (1940s- 2010s) and report its primary/main memory capacity. Dont use the same computers as your friends. For extra enrichment (i.e., not graded): See if you can find the physical size and cost of the systems in todays (i.e., 2017) dollay.

c. Implement a program in your favorite high-level language to calculate an inputted Fibonacci number, FN. Report the time it takes you to write this program and the program size. Compile the program to an object file and record its size and the architecture you compiled for. Include the program files (highlevel language and object code).
