2. Mrs. Brothers has a middle-school advisee, Samantha, who has been acting moody lately. One afternoon, Mrs. Brothers asks the girl what is going on, and Samantha responds that she has recently learned that her parents are getting divorced. Mrs. Brothers comforts Samantha and invites her to talk when she'd like to do so.
