2.Using File Explorer, copy the Data File named Lab 10 - 1 National Parks in Alaska and paste it to your storage (save it on your computer).

3.Click the New Query button (Data tab | Get & Transform group) and choose to import from a workbook. Using the Import Data dialog box, navigate to your storage location and import the Lab 10 - 1 National Parks in Alaska file.

4.When Excel displays the Navigator dialog box, click the Top 10 Parks table and then click the Edit button.

5.Using the Query Editor window, remove the first row, which is a title. Make the next row the header row. Close and load the query.

6.Widen columns as necessary to view all of the data. Add commas to the visitor figures.

7.Click the 3D Map button (Insert tab | Tours group) to open the 3D Maps window.

8.For Scene 1:

a.Remove any locations in the Layer Pane.

b.Zoom out and reposition the map to show the entire United States.

9.Create Scene 2.

a.In the Location area (Layer Pane), click the Add Field button and then click State in the field list.

b.Create a text box with the word, Alaska.

10. Create Scene 3.

a.Remove the text box and turn on Map Labels.

b.In the Location area (Layer Pane), click the Add Field button (Layer Pane) and then click National Park in the field list. Click the Select One button and then click Other in the list.

c.In the Height area (Layer Pane), click the Add Field button and then click Visitors in 2015.

d.In the Category area (Layer Pane), click the Add Field button and then click National Park. Right-click the Legend and then click Remove.

e.Zoom in as close as possible, while keeping all of the data bars on the map.

f.For each data bar, right-click the data bar and then click Add Annotation. In the Add Annotation dialog box, click the National Park option button, click the Custom option button, and then edit the title field to display only the name of the park. Choose a position for the annotation (left or right), and how high on the bar you want the annotation to display. As you add annotations, try not to overlap.

11.For Scenes 1 and 2, change the scene options to a duration of 3 seconds and use the Fly Over Effect. For Scene 3, change the scene option to a duration of 3 seconds and use the Push In effect.

12.Play the tour (Figure 10-88) page EX 614 and then make any adjustments necessary. Capture a screenshot of scene 3. Create a video of the tour with the name Alaska State Parks.

13.Close the 3D Maps window and return to the Excel window. Save the file.

14.Navigate to Sheet1 in the workbook. Rename the worksheet Homepage. Paste the screen capture.

15.In cell M3, typeLinks: to enter a heading.

16.Navigate to the Top 15 Parks worksheet and copy the range, B2:B11. Paste the range to cell M5 on the home page.

17.Open a browser and navigate tohttp://www.nps.gov/state/ak/index.htm. Scroll down to Bering Land Bridge National Preserve. Right-click the heading and then click Copy link on the shortcut menu.

18.Return to the workbook. Right-click cell M5 and then click Hyperlink on the shortcut menu. Paste the web address in the Address box. Click the OK button.

19.Repeat Steps 17 and 18 for each of the other nine parks.

20.In cell M15, typeMap Animation. Hyperlink the cell to the stored video you created.

21.Save the file.
