You operated CSTR in series at following conditions VA=Vg=80ml/min, Volume of reactor=0.6 liter, Concentration of both reactant in the feed tank =0.14 M. Temperature =25C Measured conductivity of product at steady state in tank 1 and tank 2 are=7.7 and 7.1 mS/cm Find experimental rate constant of reaction. Compare experimental and theoretical conversion for tank 2. (Please note that conductivity of 0.1 M NaOH and 0.1 M sodium acetate are at 25C 21 mS/Cm and 7.6 ms/Cm respectively. Theoretical Rate constant=0.1 liter mole-1 sec -1
