PROJECT DESCRIPTION Working in your groups, select ONE company from the Financial Post's list of "Canada's Top 100 Employers" (http:/wowwcanadastopio0.com_) and analyze how that company applies a particular theory of organizational behaviour that is covered in the course. Choose a company for which there is plenty of information available (company website, company contacts, news articles, magazine articles, case studies, etc.). Do not rely solely on the company's website. Select a Theory from the textbook and research the selected OB theory furtherby using a variety of library resources such as, academic journals, industry publications, Internet sources, books, business magazines etc. ( http://hesearchguides.georgebrown.ca_]. : You are to go beyond your textbook and research your selected OB theory. The more specific you are in terms of the theory that you choose, the more concise your project will be. For example, if you choose to examine how your company applies theories of motivation to motivate its employees, choose a specific motivation theory and examine that one theory in detail; do not attempt to examine all motivation theories in their entirety.
