2.2 Alaser is shone onto a pair of very thin slits that are located on the flat side of a half-cylinder, and an interference pattern appears on the inside of the half-cylinder's curved surface (a top view of this is shown in the figure). A grid has been overlaid for reference purposes, and at least two dark fringes appear in the interference pattern at the positions indicated. double-slit
