3. Discussion of the ANOVA source table

F. As we practiced in class, show how to create the ANOVA source table by hand. It's not necessary to draw it by hand; recall that I used a pre-made table in class. Rather, the focus should be on the components of the table. As we practiced in class, show how to fill in the cells in the ANOVA source table, ending with a correct calculation of the F ratio.

To complete the table, you will have to calculate the dfs by hand using the formulas we learned.

I provided the between and within SSs in the excel data file, in the "Background and variables" tab, in the section called "SSs for the ANOVA source table."

G. In class, I provided tips to help you remember and/or understand the different aspects of the ANOVA table. Select two that you think are most helpful and important and provide them for your student. The goal is to help them use the ANOVA source table more effectively and accurately.

H. Demonstrate how to report the ANOVA findings using A-P-A style. Use words to answer your research question (item A). Additionally, use correct italics, capitalization, and spacing of letters, numbers, and symbols to share the statistics.
