\fLin You are hired by the police to investigate an accident. A grey 2018 Corvette Z06 failed to notice a stop sign unti the last moment. The drive of the ZO6 skids into an intersection where it collides with a blue 2016 Honda Civic traveling southbound. The two cars entangle and skid across the intersection. Upon reaching the curb, the ZO6 is stopped by the curb, but the Civic keeps sliding on grass until it stops. You create a drawing of the accident. Color of skid marks match color of car. You also make a note to yourself that it was raining at the time of the collision. Neither driver admits to speeding before the accident. Your job is to figure out the initial velocity of each vehicle at the beginning of the scenario as seen in your sketch above. Some helpful hints to you and your group to help you investigate this scenario. 1) You will need to go online to find relevant information about the cars and skidding. 2) This is clearly a multipart problem. 3) You will need the use of a protractor and ruler.
