He had been holding in his hand a power cord that he was going to use to plug in his phone but in the moment, he forgot to drop it as he ran out to stop the two cats. He did however try to use the cord to hit the two cats in an instinctual attempt to separate them. Mariam saw Tobias hitting her cat and raced out to the street to stop them. As she arrived on the scene the whipping cord did hit her in the face and caused a small cut on her chin. Enraged, Mariam then began to hit, kick and scratch Tobias until he stopped hitting the two cats and backed away. In the aftermath, Tobias and Mariam would like to sue each other.
