Competency A: I hope all is well with you and that you are beginning to become comfortable with leading the team. My door is always open if you need anything. I recommend to you that you appoint a second in command. Doing this will give you the support you will need to meet the expectations both the client and I have for you. Success if of the utmost importance to ensure we maintain a positive relationship with "Clients R Us." Mark and Ayo are great candidates. Attached are files that detail examples of their individual leadership styles; the information comes from their nominations for Employees of the Year last year. As you remember, they were each given an award. I think either one of them could make an excellent choice, but I encourage you to pick someone who complements your own personal skill set, and that you will believe can help you lead your team.
