The cost of cleaning up pollution in a stream is given by = 37000/ 100 , where C is the cost in dollars that is required to clean p percent of the stream. (For example, when p is 20, then the formula will calculate the cost to clean up 20 percent of the stream.)

(a) According to this formula, is it possible for 100 percent of the pollution to be cleaned from the stream? Why or why not?

(b) What restrictions should be placed on the values of the variable p in order to make this formula more valid for the application it is intended to represent? Express your answer in interval form.
