Start with the 30'F and draw each isotherm up to the 80 F. Make sure you label each isotherm with its temperature. Label the area where the temperature gradient is high with an "H" and areas where the temperature gradient is low with an "L". Take a picture of your completed isotherm map and insert it below. To draw the isotherms you should first visually scan the data to try to visualize the temperature pattern. Then start to sketch the line. Remember that an isotherm of a certain value will go through a station circle only if that station reports precisely the value of the isotherm being drawn. Otherwise, that particular isotherm should be drawn to keep higher values on one side and lower values on the other.
