It must define a specific outcome .A goal set as: "I want to increase my academic standing." is too vague. What are the specifics of this goal? Do you want to achieve a GPA above a 3.0 by the end of the Spring ? By the end of the Fall? For example, a specific goal would be "I want to achieve a 3.0 cumulative GPA by the end of this semester." M Measurable Any goal or objective must be measurable .lf individuals can experience success in reaching a goal . it will lead to motivation and determination to do more or to do better .For example ,you can measure how much your GPA has increased at the end of the semester and you can use your mid semester reports to see if you are on track to meeting your goal
