The Trinity Temple Temperance Society (TTTS) placed an advertisement in the local newspaper that in order to encourage moral behavior in the area they would pay $2000 dollars to the first 20 people that would give up drinking, smoking and loose behavior as well as attend the religious convocation of their choice for 1 year. This would be proven by evidence of past discretion and on-going tests including spot drug and alcohol testing as well as attendance at any of the local temples, churches, mosques or other local. The goal of the promotion of people with the "Highest Moral Fiber". For the next 12 months 55 people went to the TTTS office to comply with the rules. Upon completion of the 12 months, all 55 people could prove that they had the "highest moral fiber". TTTS was unable to choose between the 55 people based on the merits and decides it is best to call off the event and tells everyone that the virtues of clean living is its own reward.
