6-minute speech to persuade. Choose a topic you feel truly passionate about, like motivating people to donate clothes to a homeless shelter or volunteering at a local nursing home. If you choose a controversial topic, be sure to present both sides AND provide solid academic sources. In fact, a minimum of 4 academic sources is required for this assignment.There is also a visual aid required for this speech.This does NOT have to be a PowerPoint...feel free to get creative with the visual. Please check with me if you need clarification. There are 2 parts to this assignment:

1. A written outline (due this Sunday, but earlier submissions give you the best chance at receiving earlier feedback and having more time to apply adjustments to the speech)
2. A video recording/live presentation (due this Sunday, with a 3 day penalty-free grace period).
