Before this analysis, we need to add a new variable of data to the data set. . Create a new variable (column) called Stadium Age. In this column, we will calculate the age of each stadium from when it opened to today (2021). For each team, subtract the current year (2021) from the year that the Stadium Opened. For example, Fenway Park in Boston where the Boston Red Sox play opened in 1912. Subtracting it from 2021 gives an age of 109 years. After you have created this new variable, caculate the following statistical measures. Be sure to use the following rules when entering your answers: . Enter your answers to 3 decimal places. Use a zero in front of the decimal if the answer is less than 1. Do not use a comma for any answers with a value of 1,000 or more. Hint: Coefficient of Variation (CV) is an standardized measure that is useful for comparsion of the variation in different variables. CV is calculated by dividing the standard deviation by the mean (St Dev / Mean). Team Salary HR BA Wins ERA Attendance Stadium Age Mean Median Range Standard Deviation Variance Coefficient of Variation Use the table you have just completed to answer the following questions: A. For home runs, is mean or median a better measure of central location? Enter Mean or Median. B. Based on the coefficient of variation values, which variable has the largest amount of variation? This will be the variable that has the largest coefficient of variation value. C. Based on the coefficient of variation values, which variable has the smallest amount of variation? This will be the variable that has the smallest coefficient of variation value
