A basic electric steel furnace treats 1 0 T charge having ( percent ) C - 2 . 0 , Mn - 0 . 8

A basic electric steel furnace treats 10T charge having (percent) C-2.0,Mn-0.8,Si-0.1,P-0.8,S-0.2 and Fe-95.2.During the oxidizing stage, four fifth of carbon, four fifth of Silicon, one half of original manganese, and all phosphorous gets oxidized. Sulphur is also eliminated as CaS to slag. The oxidation is done by addition of iron ore(85% Fe2O3,15% SiO2).The slag carries FeO derived from reduction of Fe2O3,equivalent to 2% of the iron in the metal charged. The slag carries 40% CaO.
Calculate the weight of the ore used, steel made and weight composition of the slag.
