As Soon As The Electric Heater Is Turned On, The Blood At 30 C Is 10 L/Min. It Enters The Heater With A Volumetric Flow Rate And Leaves The Heater With The Same Volumetric Flow Rate. A blood warmer, shown in the figure below, used to warm blood before it is administered to a patient, is initially filled with 1 liter of blood at a temperature of 30 C. As soon as the electric heater is turned on, the blood at 30 C is 10 L/min. It enters the heater with a volumetric flow rate and leaves the heater with the same volumetric flow rate. The amount of heat transferred during the heating process is 6 kW, and the mixer in the heater does a work of 0.5 kW to the system. Calculate the time required for the blood temperature in the outlet flow to reach the body temperature of 37 C.
