(c) To help the flow rate, the pipes could be hooked up to a pump that increases the pressure on water at the top lake to an additional 38.5 PSI. If Pipe #1 is used, by what factor does this increase the flow rate as compared with not having the pump? (d) For the ratio of the flow rates in part (a), what is the ratio of the speed of the water flowing in Pipe A to that of Pipe B?
