A customer walks into the store, and a sales representative welcomes the customer. The customer arrives at the cash register and places the items on the counter. The cashier asks for the customers reward card or phone number. If they have the card, the cashier scans it. If they have a phone number, the cashier types it in to retrieve the account. If the customer does not have a rewards account, the cashier asks the customer if they are interested in signing up for one. If they say yes, the cashier starts the enrollment process. If they say no, the cashier proceeds with the checkout process.
The cashier then begins scanning the items the customer is purchasing. Once all the items are scanned, the cashier asks the customer if the customer is interested in donating to a local cause(s) customer responds by answering yes or no. If yes, the cashier scans a donation box. If not, then the cashier proceeds with the checkout. Next, the customer presents any coupons to be used in the transaction. The cashier scans the coupons and tells the customer the total amount owed.
Next, the cashier asks for the payment method, including a credit card, debit card, gift card, cash, or store card. These methods can be combined, such as paying half credit and half cash. The items are bagged once the payment is processed, and the receipt is placed in the bag.
The customer picks up the bag and leaves the store.
You are required to:
Identify the start and end of the event.
Identify the tasks in the sequence.
Identify the gateways (all three types)
Could you please show a drawing of what the diagram is supposed to look like. I am really stuck on this and would highly appreciate the help. Thank you!
