A fast pulse rate can be an indicator of stress. Medical researchers conducted a study in which 14 patients suffering from stress participated in a one-month music therapy/relaxation program. The initial and final pulse rates for each patient were recorded before and after the experiment. Incomplete SPSS output of the analysis is shown below.
