This algorithm requires selection (randomly) of a list of 20 genes out of the 500 genes on the array. (No gene can appear more than once in a single list, and the order of the list is not important.) If two such 20-gene lists are selected randomly, what is the probability that they have at least one gene in common? Write a MATLAB program to simulate the selection of two 20-item lists from a 500- item sample set, and demonstrate that the result matches the theoretical result calculated above.
