A highspeed video camera running at 180 frames per second was use to record a player kicking a soccer ball. Each square on the grip is 10 cm on a slide.

1. Download the video (soccerkick video.gif) which shows each from for about a second and determine the speed of the soccer ball after the kick. Socker kick-gif.png.zip contains the 12 individual frames.
2. Penalty kicks in soccer take place 11m away from the goal. Calculate the time it takes the ball to cover this distance
