A key component of a literature review is a discussion/critique of the methods used by the original research team.

For this discussion board, we will be focused on understanding how to read, understand, and evaluate peer-reviewed research methodologies. For this discussion board:

• Read through the following links:

  • AEJMC Code of Ethics Research
  • Duke University Science Writing
• After completing the reading, describe the primary concepts and methodology of scientific research and study. (There is a lot of material linked on the Duke site, look through all the tabs and materials).
• Then read both of the journal articles in Unit 1 (and linked below) and discuss the differences in methodology between the two articles.
