A large part of the funeral service industry hinges on culture. Every nation, state, community, institution, team has one. You have studied several cultures so far in this course with a few more to come. One day you may have to serve a family from a culture that is foreign to you and your company. This could be challenging if you or your firm have no tolerance for that particular culture. Some cultures are very similar to your own. Others are not very close to your culture at all.
