A literature review is a written analysis of peer-reviewed published information on a topic.

For this assignment, please choose a topic related to Courts and Judicial Procedures to begin researching and constructing a literature review. This assignment should be a minimum of three full pages to five pages long, double-spaced, Times New Roman, with half-inch margins, and must follow APA guidelines (title and reference pages do not count as part of your page limit).

Within this section, please specify your desired topic, and discuss in detail why it is important and how it relates to our current class. Additionally, provide some background on the topic (i.e., history, previous laws, and if there is available data on the topic).
