A local hospital is starting a new PI project to improve the level of customer satisfaction patients experience in the emergency department. The recently hired director of the emergency department was chosen as the team leader for the PI project. As the project is moving forward, many team members are uncomfortable about the leader$$s negative attitude toward the project that she often shares with the team members. Although the project is moving forward and meeting timelines, the team feels that the dynamics of the team are negatively affected.
