The relevant information are symbolically expressed below: Djk is the number of units of product k demanded by customer j. sklm is the number of units of raw material m needed to produce a unit of product k on machine type l. Sim is the number of units of raw material m available at factory i. xkl is the number of capacity units of machine type l that will produce one unit of product k. Xil the number of capacity units of machine type l available at factory i. Pikl is the production cost for each unit of product k on machine type l at factory i. Tijk is the transportation cost for each product k to be shipped from factory i to customer j. Formulate a linear program for this problem.
