INSTRUCTIONS:
- Clearly illustrate the organogram of the company and your position. This should also show the various disciplines of team members within the identified company.
- Identify the Industrial Engineering tools or techniques that you will use in identifying, analysing and also solving the problem within the company/station. Diagrams or models and graphs should be used for a detailed explanation and illustration of your findings.
- Develop a management planning process and strategy that you are going to use in solving the identified problem.
- Also discuss the model of management that will best suite your chosen technique or methods of solving the identified problem.
- Furthermore, demonstrate the various decision-making process that was used in every step.
- After the research findings and solutions, the student should compile a single report between 10 to 20 pages and a power point presentation which he/she will do for the entire class.
- All source of information must be reference within the text and at the end of the report.
EVALUATION:
In evaluating your reports, the lecturer will primarily be looking at the following things:
- Evidence of your close and considered engagement with your source material and with the terms of the assignment; and
- A clear sense of your contribution to this ongoing discussion.
FORMATTING AND ORGANIZING YOUR REPORT:
The following logical things must be considered when you are writing your report:
- Create a front page with all applicable detail.
- Use standard reporting format (Introduction, Body, Conclusion, References) and use figures and tables to enhance your assignment;
- Use numbering and headings in the body of the report to separate concepts;
- Minimum length is five (10) pages;
- Use Arial 12 Font and 1.5 spacing;
