A mixture of 1 0 % ( molar ) A and 9 0 % B is fed into a reactor behaving as a CSTR ,

A mixture of 10%(molar) A and 90% B is fed into a reactor behaving as a CSTR, where
a following reaction takes place
A+BC+D,HR=-95kJkmol-1.
Mean molar heat capacities of compounds are (in Jmol-1K-1) : cp,A=35,cp,B=30,
cp,C=30.0 and cp,D=25. The inlet temperature is 620K. Calculate:
a)(15pts.) the reaction temperature if the conversion of A is 75%.
b)(10pts.) the reaction temperature if the feed is composed of 20%A,30%B and 50%
of an inert with cp,A=42Jmol-1K-1 and the conversion of A remains 75%
Assume the CSTR as adiabatic and in steady state. Consider the heat capacities of the
compounds and reaction enthalpy (HR) as independent on temperature.
