A national research council is launching a new training program aimed at developing highly specialized researchers in artificial intelligence. The selection committee has received many applications each of which includes an overall rating of each applicant based on his/her academic records. The committee has also administered the following two tests to the applicants to further assess their eligibility: a basic knowledge test and an aptitude test. To validate these two tests, the committee wants to know the relationship between the knowledge and aptitude tests ratings and the overall ratings based on academic records
