A new particle type has been discovered Neither Boson nor Fermion = NBF. An NBF particle is spinless with mass m and can be in the same state with another NBF but no more i.e., the number of particles in a state of energy 6 can be only 0, 1 or 2. Assume this state (the system) with energy 6 is in contact with a thermal and diffusive reservoir of NBF particles at temperature 7' and chemical potential it. (a) (2 points) Write down the Grand Partition Function (GPF), 2(6), for this state, in terms of u, e and '7'. (b) (2 points) Find the average number of particles in the state 6. (c) (3 points) Now consider that the system is the state 6 which is the electronic ground state of 4He and is in contact with a thermal and diffusive reservoir of electrons at 7'. Write the GPF7 Z (6), for this state and show that it is not the same as the GPF from part a). Explain why they are different
