A new pseudo-virtual reality space is under development that will challenge traditional online meeting spaces. You have been called in as a consultant to help the HuddlSpace development team develop a longterm strategic plan for their product. To complete this, you will use Design Thinking methods to empathize with the users, define the problems that HuddlSpace solves, brainstorm relevant ideas (ideate) and ultimately develop a prototype (storyboard) of the future of the program.

Activity:

Prepare and submit the following:

Empathize: Create three user personas (User Persona Card) for users of HuddlSpace.

One professor

Two students.

Submit this in the Design Thinking Empathize Box.

Define: Based on each user, work through the 5 Whys (5 Whys) to get to the root cause that each person would choose to use HuddlSpace.

Ideate: Based on your understanding of the users (EMPATHIZE - the personas), and the 5 whys (DEFINE), generate ideas (Brainstorming or Disney Creative Strategy) for HuddlSpace that will support the users needs.

Categorize them on a chart (2X2 Matrix or Impact Effort Matrix) for (1) importance and feasibility, (2) importance and urgency,

(3) present a projected timeline (Bullseye Diagram or Affinity Diagram). (See the attached "5 Whys" pdf...it includes an example of this).

Prototype: Provide a storyboard (Storyboard) and screenshots (or drawings) of what version 1 would look like and how someone would interact with the app.
