A new venturi needs to be installed by Sasol in Secunda to enhance fly ash removal from flue gas as a means of ensuring the discharge to the atmosphere meets set guidelines. The flowrate of polluted gas to the venturi scrubber is 120m3/s (actual) with a total particulate concentration of 0.0105kg/m3 gas (actual). The pressure drop is 10kPa.
