A number of years ago, Alvernia University began the tradition of beginning a class, meeting, or event with a Mission Moment- a prayer, poem, quote, fable, or anecdote to illustrate an important lesson, spiritual value, or universal principle. In support of this tradition, we will begin each week with a Mission Moment to help focus on the week's learning activities, thus it should be the first thing you address and can be addressed prior to attempting the lesson activities and readings.
