A PASCO dynamic track is used with a PASCO Ballistic Projectile launcher to show the two-dimensional motion of a moving launcher. The cart is moved to be at a constant velocity, at which a bracket triggers the launcher to launch a yellow ball directly vertical. As the ball moves, it has the same x-velocity as the cart which allows for it to be caught in the "bin" at the top of the launcher. To apply this to action movies of items being tossed over bridges, a tunnel is used for the projectile launcher to go through and catch the ball on the other side. This experiment could also be done on an incline but is only demonstrated on a flat surface.

Would this work for a downward or upward incline for the track? With the width of the "bin" being x, what is the angle tolerance of the projectile launcher such that it can still land in the "bin"?
