A recently published article (van Doremalen, 2020) tested the survival oftwo related coronaviruses on various surfaces. SARS-CoV-2 is the coronavirusthat is currently causing a pandemic. Aerosols containing one of the two viruses were applied to various surfaces and the amount of viable virus was measured after different times.
