A report that presents a critical reflection on potential improvements to an operation, system, or process, within your own current workplace or from a previous organizational experience. An operations management perspective and language must support your narrative concerning the description, thinking, and learning from your selected experience. This critical reflection must consider an analysis that supports recommendations for new alternatives. These recommendations are expected to improve the performance of the operation, system, or process under study. Identify a challenge, being it a problem or an opportunity, concerning the organisation or activities you are/were involved. This challenge must be positively affected by the application of concepts and practices taught in the module. The challenge can focus on the strategic, tactical, or operational level of operation; however, it must demonstrate an appropriate and rigorous use of the concepts and practices in explaining the proposed alternatives to specific organisational practices. Explain the problem or opportunity; methods, assumptions, and procedures to be used in the analysis; results and discussion; conclusions, and finally recommendation(s). As part of the recommendations, an implementation plan is required. It must justify how the proposed alternative could produce a better result. Explain why this alternative was chosen, its relevance in terms of the performance of the organisations' internal and external environment (suprasystem), the key decisions involved, and the expected results.
