A resource is a necessary asset with the purpose of helping to carry out a certain task within a project. Resource examples include labor, tools, equipment, supplies, software, and even a cell phone.

• Think about a project that you are currently working on or have worked on.
  • List all the resources used in this project.
  • Discuss why resources need to be considered when developing a schedule.
• Give at least five examples of resources you, as an IT Project Manager, would need (think back to week 1 and the unique nature of IT projects). Explain your examples.
